BEST OF 2013 TAG

I found BEST OF 2013 tag on Facebook (in our Slovenian Beauty Bloggers group) and decided to do it since i haven˙t done any 2013 recap yet.

1. Best nail polish

I have to say Essie Fiji. The most wearable nail polish ever. More here.

 2. Best lip product

MAC Plumful lipstick (on the picture: right). Sheerer yet enough pigmented lipstick in plum color. And it doesn`t dry out my lips which is a big plus. More here.

3. Best eye product

KIKO Luxurious Lashes volume mascara (on the picture: right). Wanna get fake lashes effect? Then try this one.

 4. Best face product

NARS Sin blush. I bought it this summer in London and since then it`s the only blush i`ve been using. It`s a berry color with gold shimmer.

All the wonderful cities i visited and all the parties i attended and all the people i met and who "stayed". 2013 was the year to remember!

KIKO HAUL

KIKO is one of my favorite make up brand and when i go abroad (Italy this time) visiting their store is a must. Sadly this brand is not available in my country. 

Some of the things i bought were on my wish list, others were just too good to be left in the store.

~ Nail products ~

I picked 2 nail polishes in shade 225 & 434 (swatches soon) and nail polish remover, which i`ve already tried and i must say i am glad i bought it- removing nail polish has never been so quick before.

~ Make up products ~

First thing on my wish list was All day mat foundation, i took it in the shade 04 Ivory Beige. I have combination skin and my only request when it comes to foundations is mat effect. I tried this foundation once so far, the application is easy, it ensures full coverage and my skin didn`t look all shiny after few hours so big thumbs up. Another 2 items from my wish list were my favorite under-eye concealer and my favorite volume mascara.

The last thing i couldn`t resist buying was this beautiful limited edition Loud nigh bronzer in shade 01 Supple satin honey. It`s silky bronzer which gives sun-kissed and NOT orange effect.

MY SPRING FAVORITES

Before spring officially ends i decided to show you my favorite and most used products during this season.

1. Let`s start with Batiste dry shampoo ~  It revitalizes my hair + smells amazing (floral scent). It doesn`t make my hair all fresh but it helps me to wait another day or two before washing them again. (click)

2. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Al Targeted breakout corrector ~ I apply this corrector every night directly on the blemishes/breakouts/imperfections. I`ve been using it for 2 months now and i can say it really keeps my skin from breaking out. (click)

3. L`Oreal Volume Million Lashes ~ Thanks to my friend, i finally found a drugstore mascara that separates and volumizes my long lashes. (click)

4. Yankee Candle Summer Scoop ~ Strawberry ice cream scent. Smells delicious! (click)

5. H&M ring ~ I`ve been wearing it all the time this spring.

6. Vichy NutriExtra fluid ~ Fluid for dry skin. My skin is so soft and nourished after using it. (click)

7. Real Techniques Powder brush ~ Softest brush ever. I use mine for applying bronzing powder. (click)

8. MAC Breath of Plum blush ~ As you can see (almost empty), my all time favorite plum blush. I`ve been using it every single day this spring. (click)

9. Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm ~ My night lip balm which keeps my lips soft and moisturized. I love its smell and texture. (click)

10. Celine Audrey sunglasses ~ I just love them! (click)

DIOR HAUL

I`ve wanted DIOR Vernis Amazonia since i saw its first swatch. I would describe this shade as an army color, very trendy at the moment. 

 

I also needed a new mascara. This time i decided to try something new (i usually pick Dior Iconic, Lancome Hypnose or Benefit BadGal) and i`ve chosen DIORSHOW New Look Mascara. After the 1st application i can say it`s great for my lashes, it makes them sooo long.

I also received mini DIOR 5-Colour Couture Eyeshadow palette with the mascara. So cute, isn`t it?

I love Dior cosmetics, they never disappoint me.

Shopping in Barcelona

I didn`t have a lot of time for shopping in Barcelona (since our main purpose was bachelorette party), but i still bought some lovely things:

♥ Sephora tweezers, Benefit BADgal lash mascara, Kiko duo-chrome nailpolish (397 - Aureus Pomenagrad), I am ring and necklace

US and UK purchases

When a postman rings your bell and makes your day...

I ordered Revlon Lip Butter (finally ♥), Cover Girl Lash blast mascara (which is already in my sister`s hands and i need to order another one for myself) and Eos Lip Balm from various sellers on eBay and Tangle Teezer from Asos ( i needed a new one since my previous was totally damaged).

Dior Diorshow Iconic mascara

I`m not really good in writing reviews, so i won`t call this a review, but simply my opinion about mascara. 

I`ve heard so many good things about Diorshow Iconic mascara, but i never managed to buy it. I always ended up buying my (so far) favourite Lancome Hypnose mascara. Now I decided to try something new and to give a try to Diorshow Iconic mascara. It is expensive, costs 30 eur, but hey, it`s totally worth it, really! Like it says, it defines and curls your lashes, plus give them false-lashes-effect. I naturally have long lashes, but they are very light, so what i expect from mascara is only one thing- to make them noticeable.

Kozmetični nakup

Že dolgo časa obljubljam, da bom pokazala kaj vse sem nakupila v Londonu, pa nikakor nisem našla časa poslikat in napisat objave. Danes sem poslikala kozmetični del, čevlji in ostalo pa sledi v naslednjih dneh. :)

Večinoma sem iskala izdelke, ki jih pri nas ne moreš kupit oziroma je cena v UK nižja.

Domov sem prinesla:

- Chloe Rose edition parfum; zraven so mi podarili lično Chloe kozmetično torbico. Parfum se ne razlikuje veliko od stare verzije, edina razlika je ta, da je Chloe Rose edition malenkost bolj svež.

- 3 nove lace: 2 Models Own (Pink fever in Lili`s pink) in American Apparel (Dynasty). Models Own Lili`s pink mi je zelo všeč, prav tako Dynasty od AA, Pink fever (temnejša roza na sliki) pa ne odgovarja mojemu tenu kože, tako da ga z veseljem menjam (ali prodam), če katera želi.

- Maybelline Volume Express maskara (ki je še nisem odprla); Benefit Girl meets pearl (šimrasta krema, ki jo lahko zmešaš z dnevno kremo ali naneseš čez puder za sijaj); Lancome Hypnose maskara  (ponovno sem ugotovila, da je to "the one" maskara, saj mi naredi videz umetnih trepalnic); Benefit So hooked on Carmella (najboljši parfumček ever; diši po vaniliji; je sladek in obstojen; nujno ga povohajte, če ga kje v tujini zagledate, ampak dajte mu tudi kakšnih 5 min, saj se vonj s časoma razvije <3); Mac lipglass (eden izmed ljubših glossov).

Danes pa sem šla v Müller po barvo za lase in seveda nisem mogla mimo polic z novimi Catrice in Essence laki, tako da so z mano šli sledeči:

- Essence Cracking top coat; bel

- Catrice; Miss Piggy reloaded

- Catrice; Am i blue or green?

- Essence; bleščičast nadlak

Zdaj pa me drogerije ne vidijo več, lep čas! :)
