BEST OF 2013 TAG

I found BEST OF 2013 tag on Facebook (in our Slovenian Beauty Bloggers group) and decided to do it since i haven˙t done any 2013 recap yet.

1. Best nail polish

I have to say Essie Fiji. The most wearable nail polish ever. More here.

 2. Best lip product

MAC Plumful lipstick (on the picture: right). Sheerer yet enough pigmented lipstick in plum color. And it doesn`t dry out my lips which is a big plus. More here.

3. Best eye product

KIKO Luxurious Lashes volume mascara (on the picture: right). Wanna get fake lashes effect? Then try this one.

 4. Best face product

NARS Sin blush. I bought it this summer in London and since then it`s the only blush i`ve been using. It`s a berry color with gold shimmer.

MY SPRING FAVORITES

Before spring officially ends i decided to show you my favorite and most used products during this season.

1. Let`s start with Batiste dry shampoo ~  It revitalizes my hair + smells amazing (floral scent). It doesn`t make my hair all fresh but it helps me to wait another day or two before washing them again. (click)

2. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Al Targeted breakout corrector ~ I apply this corrector every night directly on the blemishes/breakouts/imperfections. I`ve been using it for 2 months now and i can say it really keeps my skin from breaking out. (click)

3. L`Oreal Volume Million Lashes ~ Thanks to my friend, i finally found a drugstore mascara that separates and volumizes my long lashes. (click)

4. Yankee Candle Summer Scoop ~ Strawberry ice cream scent. Smells delicious! (click)

5. H&M ring ~ I`ve been wearing it all the time this spring.

6. Vichy NutriExtra fluid ~ Fluid for dry skin. My skin is so soft and nourished after using it. (click)

7. Real Techniques Powder brush ~ Softest brush ever. I use mine for applying bronzing powder. (click)

8. MAC Breath of Plum blush ~ As you can see (almost empty), my all time favorite plum blush. I`ve been using it every single day this spring. (click)

9. Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm ~ My night lip balm which keeps my lips soft and moisturized. I love its smell and texture. (click)

SALES, GIFTS, VOUCHERS

My first purchase with birthday gift vouchers was Chanel Chance fragrance. It has been on my wish list since forever and because it is so expensive (58eur for 35ml) i never managed to buy it. Now it`s finally mine! Another thing i bought are Zara slippers. They look exactly like Valentino lace slippers.

Then i received a late Christmas gift from my friend which included this delicious Hot Chocolate, and i won a secret giveaway on Get them curious. Get them talking. blog and received many great products and one of them was Elf`s lipstick.

Another thing i bought last week was MAC Craving lipstick. When i came home i noticed it looked similar to MAC Plumful. Craving is more pigmented, Plumful is sheerer.

Tomorrow is my b-day, i will spend it with my family. I already celebrated it with my friends on Sathurday. Christmas dinner will be at my parent`s house and after the dinner i will hang out with friends. And for New Year`s Eve? Still no plans.

EARLY B-DAY GIFT

Thank you VONJ NARAVE to make one thing from my B-day wishlist come true. 

 I really love CHRISTMAS COOKIE scent, it`s buttery rich, vanilla scented and smells like holiday sugar cookies.

Thanks once again!

 When i went to pick up my birthday gift (above mentioned candle) i couldn`t resist to buy the scent of this month- Cherries on snow, the smell of juicy cherries mixed with sweet almonds.

 

 And the other part of my early b-day gift (from me to me) is MAC Plumful lipstick (thanks to my friend, who bought it in Vienna for me) and WILDFOX wings ring in rose gold (from Asos).

NEW IN + BRONZING POWDER COMPARISON

I finally bought new foundation, again my all time favorite CLINIQUE anti-blemish solutions. I also bought new bronzing powder by MAC in Golden shade (my Nars ~ Laguna is getting to an end). 

I decided to make a quick comparison between MAC ~ Golden and NARS ~ Laguna.

3. My opinion

I wanted to buy Laguna by NARS again but since i went to Graz last weekend and there was MAC store, i decided to give their bronzing powder a try.  

All i want in bronzer is: NOT to look orange after application. 

I decided to buy MAC`s Golden shade because it seemed very similar to Laguna. It actually is similar, maybe not so brownish and not so pigmented as NARS, but you can always layer it.  

Golden was a perfect choice for my skin tone!

You can buy NARS ~ Laguna here and MAC ~ Golden in MAC stores for 25 eur (I am not sure if it`s smart to buy MAC products on eBay.).

Shopping in Graz

I`ve been ill for the last couple of days (that`s why i didn`t even post on my blog) and yesterday my mum cheered me up with an awesome idea to go to Graz. Shopping is always a good idea, isn`t it?! I was disappointed with sale`s articles, so i bought pieces (flats & jeans in Zara; Fiorelli wallet; lounge pants in Deha) from new collection and, of course, some beauty products (MAC lipstick; Clinique foundation; Dior nail polish from The garden collection and TBS body butter).It was a successful day! :)

One more thing cheered me up this weekend- SNOW! It was finally snowing here.

Mac & Benefit purchase

When i`m in London, i can`t resist buying new cosmetic goodies. They have many products we can`t buy here in Slovenija, so buying products from Mac, Benefit etc. is always a "must do". I came home with a lof of new stuff, but these two are really worth showing:

- MAC mineralize blush; shade: GENTLE. Raspberry shade, that is very pigmented and shimmery. Love it!

- Benefit Tattletell all! makeup kit (Includes: 2 lipsticks, lipgloss, Highbeam, Benetint, 2 eyeshadows, blush and 2 brushes). The package is so cute (As usual...Benefit is known by their amazing retro packages.).

I hope we will, someday, get these brands too!
